Silver bathroom vanities – Whether you want to replace an existing bathroom vanity or installing a vanity in a new home, it is a challenge the do-it-yourself project. Vanities are available in a variety of sizes and colors. If you are replacing an existing vanity, you need a new one that is similar in size to avoid extra work. Doing the work yourself can save a significant amount of money. Turn the hot and cold water at the shutoff valves under the sink by hand. Disconnect the trap of the sink from the vertical drainpipe hand. Release hot and cold water lines from Plug valves using a standard key.

Remove the seal from around the bowl of the sink, using a utility knife. Use a skewer to lift the sink out of vanity. Use a screwdriver to remove the screws that hold the vanity to the wall. Insert the new silver bathroom vanities in the place of the old. If you want to move the water pipes on the vanity, turn off the water at the water meter or the main shutoff valve. Install new copper water pipes; also install new isolation valves if necessary. Screw base of the vanity to the wall by 3-inch screws and screwdriver. Assemble the tap on the new sink. Wrap plumbers putty around the faucet handles where they encounter sink before placing them in the appropriate holes. Apply a continuous bead of silicone adhesive around the top of the vanity.

Connect the water supply lines to the faucet and isolating valves. Tighten the rows and then tighten anymore with a wrench. Install the sink drain. Place string plumbers putty around the drain before releasing it into the sink hole. Remove excess putty. Tighten the nut on the bottom side of the drain with a wrench. Connecting J-trap on the bottom side of the sink drain by plumbers putty around the connection to see the trap sealed. Install the drain lift rod by placing it in the drain hole, making sure you connect it to the pop-up assembly by hand. Connect the lifting bar to the back of the drain pipe. Look it that!
